Postgraduate Student’s Day
January 21 is the day when Russia celebrates Postgraduate Student’s Day – this was the day in 1925 when the Soviet Governing Office issued papers regulating the system of training for research experts. In modern Russia, the day was officially approved in 2008 and has been celebrated since then on an annual basis.
Nowadays, there are over 87,700 postgraduate students training in Russia, while the NCFU can boast of offering training to 457 of them, and the training embraces a number of areas that are of high importance for the national economy.
The important thing is that our postgraduates carry out their research activities not in Russia alone yet far beyond, in the best universities of Europe, and present their best development annually.
The list of our postgraduates would be too long to bring it here, yet specifically outstanding ones deserve to be mentioned here – Anna Lvova, Nikolai Sopnev, Philip Samoilov, Anna Kuznetsova, Tatiana Strebkova, Mikhail Gurchinsky and many others.
Great job, folks! Go on! Congratulations on this day!
