Category: Main

The admission campaign for 2026 continues at North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU, Stavropol), and support for participants in a special military operation and their families is one of the university's priorities.

Participants in a special military operation, their family members, and combat veterans can all enroll in NCFU for budget places under a separate quota. A total of 227 places have been allocated within the quota this year, and as of July 10, 2026, 285 applicants have already applied. Of these, 23 people are members of the SVO, as well as 262 are members of their families.

–If earlier applicants in this category focused on certain professions, now applications are received evenly in all areas of the university, of which there are more than 250 in NCFU. Currently, a separate document collection point has been set up for the convenience of ITS participants and their children, as well as military veterans," said Vasily Ivanov, Vice Rector for Educational Activities at NCFU.

For applicants and students from this category, the university provides individual support, active involvement in creative and sports activities, as well as financial and social support.

– Separate places have been allocated for this category of citizens in the amount of 10% of the total number of budget places. It is important that such applicants also have the right to take or retake exams and choose the best results in order to participate in the competition," said Marina Makhrinova, Head of the NCFU Pre—university Training and Career Guidance Department.

Financial support 2 times a calendar year in the amount of 30,000 rubles is also available upon the onset of a difficult life situation – this is the injury of a student, a family member who is trained while performing combat missions in the SVO zone, the fact that a student, a family member who is trained while performing combat missions in the SVO zone, is in captivity.

Participants of the special military operation and their children enrolled in secondary vocational education programs are also provided with discounted hot meals.

The documents are currently being actively submitted.
