International students of the North Caucasus Federal University have become winners of the All-Russian WOW competition! RUSSIA, aimed at popularizing Russian education and life in the country through social media.

The competition, organized by ANO National Priorities in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, brought together foreign students from Russian universities who published materials about their experiences of living and studying in Russia in their native languages. Based on the results of the selection, an asset was formed from 93 blogger students from 56 universities in 32 countries with a total reach of more than 11 million users of foreign social networks.

Among the winners were representatives of the North Caucasus Federal University: Sattorov Bekhan, a second–year graduate student in Food Systems from NCFU from Tajikistan, and Eshaa Alali, a third-year student in International Relations from NCFU from Syria, who performed in various categories of the competition. Each of them presented author's content reflecting a personal view of education and life in Russia.

In total, 14 participants in four nominations became winners. The competition received 927 applications from 532 international students from 83 Russian universities. NCFU participants chose the nominations "Study without filters" and "Russia. Life has taught me."

The next stage of the competition will be an in-person educational event in the format of a media workshop, which will be held at the Senezh Management Workshop in the Moscow Region. NCFU representatives are among the invited participants.
