Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) and Mikhail Kushakov (Rector, Donbass Academy) have signed a cooperation agreement, which implies two areas – education and research. This means that students of the two institutions can now cover part of their respective degree programs studied here, in Stavropol, while the other part can be completed in Donetsk. Another area within this cooperation is expanding complementary education programs.

– One of the most relevant tasks set by President Vladimir Putin is to integrate the new areas into the Russian research and education. I do believe that such partnership agreements will facilitate shaping one common academic community thus helping us all solve the problems our nation is facing, – Prof. Bespalov was quoted as saying.

The partners further discussed more issues, namely, the further development in higher education and the introduction of advanced technologies into education. Besides, the two institutions have plans to launch training for postgraduates and hold joint research events.
