North-Caucasus Consortium of Universities Welcomes New Members
The latest meeting of the North-Caucasus Consortium of Universities, which focused on human capital and new economy for polyethnic regions adopted a decision on granting membership to new entities, namely, Kabardino-Balkarian State University, North Ossetian State Medical Academy and North Caucasus Mining and Metallurgical Institute.
As Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU; Consortium Chair) noted, when the Consortium was established (March, 2021) it brought together 17 leading academic institutions of the entire North Caucasus.
The major areas covered by the Consortium activities include shaping competitive academic environment and assisting regions in attracting their graduates through promoting new jobs and employment opportunities.
– Our joint activities and the projects we have launched have made the Consortium recognized far beyond the North Caucasus, – Mr. Bespalov was quoted as saying.
