New NCFU academic year for the students of all forms of study, training programs and specialties starts on the 1^st of September. There will take place tutorials for the 1^st year students where they will get to know the key aspects of educational process at the university. Special events of Knowledge Day will be organized online.

The classes will be held in a mixed format, considering the regulations of the Ministry of science and higher education of Russia and the government of Stavropol territory. The large groups lectures will be carried out distantly. Laboratory and practical classes are planned to be held offline. Foreign students failing to enter Russian territory will be trained distantly as well.

NCFU organizes an «entering filter»: the students' and staff members’ temperature will be taken in a non-contacting way at every university building. There will be allocated hand sanitizers at the security posts. While staying at the university the staff members and students must wear masks and keep social distancing.
