NCFU team has won the BEST PORTFOLIO-2020 National Contest, which is an event aimed to study and promote advanced technologies for academic institutions.

The contest brought together employees of various level academic institutions, such as colleges and universities, while NCFU’s team were people of Institute of Service, Tourism and Design. Al the works were presented online.

The project by NCFU implied the development of a research & training SMART technology module for Food Safety & Lab Control within the project of Food Safety Regulation in the European Union Erasmus+.

- SMART technologies are an extremely promising field as they are actively used in the restaurant business – reserving tables, transactions, security, etc. We are trying to employ advanced technologies since we cannot do without them in the future, - Tatyana Schedrina (Associate Professor, Department of Food Technology and Commodity Science) was quoted as saying.

All the works were evaluated by a jury of top experts from the Russian ROSNANO school league and the Russian Society for Inventors, after which the winners were awarded their certificate and prizes.
