NCFU has won a grant offered by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, while the grant is supposed to be used to update the technical resources.

– The total cost of the resources we are planning to update in 2020 is over RUR 50 mln, – Andrey Likhovid (Pro-Rector for Research Affairs) was quoted as saying. – We are planning to purchase equipment to promote research in medicine, biology, agrobiology and ethnogenetics, as well as pharmaceutical chemistry, physics and new materials for optoelectronics and nanotechnology.

The project will allow the leading academic and research institutions of Russia to update their infrastructure, as well as support the import substitution program in the area of research.
