The NCFU’s delegation (Head – Dmitry Bespalov, Rector, NCFU) visiting the Republic of Abkhazia, has discussed a set of joint activities to be launched in the nearest future, including research, youth, and academic events.

While meeting Alexander Ankvab (Prime Minister, Republic of Abkhazia). Dmitry Bespalov shared both the events to be held jointly, and the outcomes gained so far.

– A number of events have already been held, with a few research projects underway. And our plans include expanding the range of refresher training specifically embracing areas that are the most relevant in view of Abkhazia’s economy – Tourism, Hospitality Business, construction, IT and Power Engineering, – Dmitry Bespalov was quoted as saying. – These projects are to be another brick in the solid wall of our ties.

Apart from the joint events to be held in the nearest years – 2022 and 2023, a Resource Research & Education Center is to be launched for teachers of Abkhazia.

Another big event to be held this year (October) is an international forum bringing together the leaders of the North-Caucasus Federal District and the countries that are part of the Larger Caucasus Consortium.
