A large-scale academic project is to be held at the NCFU on June 6 thus marking the birthday of Russia’s greatest poet, as well as the day of the Russian language. The event is to bring together people of 5 countries – researchers, teachers and foreign students, and is to be held both face-to-face and online.

– Our researchers carry out a lot of activities aimed at promoting the Russian language all over the world. I am sure that Pushkin’s poetry, which has been translated into many languages, will help more than a few people join our culture, feel the Russian heart and enjoy the beauty of the Russian language, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.

Apart from the celebration, the NCFU is going to install a portrait sculpture of Pushkin.
