Valeria Goch (student, NCFU) has advanced to the final of the Young Talent Programme 2020/2021, which was part of the World Tourist Forum held in Lucerne, Switzerland.

The contest brought together 65 projects from all over the world, whereas the major purpose of the event was to facilitate connections among managers of large companies and talented youth.

Valeria’s project was aimed at identifying factors that may have an impact on attracting young tourists to spa resorts of the Mineral Waters region in Russia.

– We have covered a long way, with three stages passed and numerous obstacles overcome, - Valeria shared. – This spring I got a call from Suzanna Mirzoyan, my research supervisor, who was absolutely confident I should join the contestю And stage after stage, I could feel enormous support from my family and my supervisor, so this belief propelled me to become one of the three finalists. I still cannot believe it!

In April 2021, the winners are to join the world innovation festival, which is to be held in Switzerland.

Valeria’s project will not only add to the high status that NCFU has already earned internationally yet will also help attract more tourists to the North Caucasus area and the Stavropol region in particular.
