The outcomes of the regional stage of the Russian National contest for young entrepreneurs hale in the Crimea have been released, and now 10 teams will compete in the final stage, which is to be held on Dec 7-11 in Moscow. One of the teams is that of NCFU, which is going to present an innovation-based project related to oil and gas industry.

Our work is aimed at improving oil production efficiency, optimizing well flushing after hydraulic fracturing, with a special material featuring a shape memory, – Anna Airapetova (project speaker, 1^st year Master’s degree student, Institute of Earth Sciences) was quoted as saying. – We have proposed a new solution, which is to make the entire task easier and more productive. WE have got very good feedback from the Jury and now we are ready for the finals.

The contest is held by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the aim of the event being to offer support to innovation-aimed activities among youngsters.
