NCFU experts have developed a healthy and smart burger. The process of creatin this unusual product rich in vitamins and minerals, was far from a simple one as involved digital technologies.

As Prof. Alexander Borisenko (Department of Food technology and Engineering, NCFU) noted, the burger first implied modeling the entire process at the molecular level thus trying to see how all the substances would interact and what impact it all would have on the properties. Further all the respective nutrients were tested, and only then the product itself was put to test. Besides, the product contains lactuvit – an ingredient that has a beneficial effect on the intestinal tract thus improving digestion.

Now the freshly patented product will be available for the NCFU students and the teachers.
