During the student Games, volunteers will be provided with uniforms, food and transport.

ncfu-ru-0000044.jpgThe XXXII World Student Games will be held in Yekaterinburg in 2023. About 10 thousand students and graduates from 150 countries of the world will take part in them. 247 sets of medals will be awarded in 18 types of sports. For the first time, the official program of the competition will include artistic disciplines: vocal, dance and public art.

Now the infrastructure for the World Student Games is being created in the city. More than 30 facilities will be built, including ice and tennis complexes, a palace of water sports, judo and rhythmic gymnastics centers. Five new residential buildings will be built on the campus of the Ural Federal University, which will accommodate up to 11 thousand participants and guests of the World Student Games.

It is planned to involve more than 11 thousand volunteers during the games. About half of them will be recruited from the residents of the Sverdlovsk region, the rest will come from other regions of Russia and foreign countries.

Acceptance of applications from candidates will start on August 8 on the official portal of the games. Candidates are required to be able to find a common language with other people, team work skills and stress tolerance. Knowledge of foreign languages, the basics of journalism, technical abilities, sports training and, of course, volunteer experience are welcome. A wide range of areas of work is offered. So, some participants will act as volunteer attaches, team leaders, supervisors or IT specialists. Others will work with the audience, provide transport support, move participants and guests of the competition around the city.
In 2019, nine NCFU students volunteered at the World Winter Student Games. They were involved in working with the audience and the media, in the Student Games ‘park, award ceremonies, transport logistics, meeting high-ranking guests, as well as in ice hockey and ball hockey competitions, short track and curling. All participants note that it was an invaluable experience for them. They developed new skills and received unforgettable impressions for a lifetime.

You can apply on the official website of the World Student Games.
