The TavridaART Festival – one of the major youth events hosted in the Crimea – is over. This event brought together more than 5,000 people, including NCFU students.

The Festival was held in the Tavrida cluster area – a platform that helps youngsters reveal their professional potential in creative industries as well arts, and numerous performances were held here now – from song events to ice-cream festival. All the events were held in a mixed format – both off- and online, the NCFU having 17 representatives from among students.

Besides, the Festival included the Russian National Contest for Youth Projects of the RUSSIA – THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES Presidential PLATFORM, WHERE OVER 290 works were presented, and now, as 67 projects have been selected, the winners are to be offered funding totaling RUR 42.36 mln. Here the NCFU had three of its representatives – Ivan Samokhvalov, Atsamaz Khugaev and Arpina Balumyan, the latter’s project – Art-Pill 2.0 – named among the winners.

– This is the first time I have attended the Festival, which is a great area with various master-classes, exciting meetings and an extremely positive atmosphere. The very fact that here, at the Festival you can present projects and meet people from other places, motivates a lot, – Arpina noted. – The Art-Pill 2.0 project comes out of another project, which is already functioning, and where we created child areas in hospitals by painting walls with images of various fairy-tale and cartoon characters. This is done by the NCFU Palette artists.
