NCFU students majoring Oil & Gas Engineering win the prize from the Rosneft Conference, which was held at the premises of the Russian oil giant.

The XVI Regional Conference embraced 4 student sections focusing on the most relevant issues faced by the industry, with students coming from all Russia.

NCFU had 11 students attending the conference, who delivered six speeches, each stirring a lot of interest from experts.

Finally, as the results came out, the project presented by Ivan Kovalenko and Aleksandr Khokha (Institute of Earth Sciences, NCFU) – Development of Fittings for Flexible Pipelines – aimed at reducing hydrocarbon production cost and enhancing oil-well operational capacity proved so good indeed that it earned the NCFU team the top prize.
