NCFU hosted the STOCK MARKET Russian National Student Olympiad which attracted contestants from all over Russia, including Ufa, Ulyanovsk, Rostov-on-Don, Perm, St. Petersburg, and Stavropol.

The event, which has been a tradition since 2013, was held in order to enhance the youngsters’ overall capacity thus adding to their financial literacy, and once again it proved to be a unique place where students majoring in Economic spheres can come to test their skills and exchange experience.

As usual, this time the program of the event was diverse, and after three online primary selection stages 40 best contestants advanced to the face-to-face part, whose task was more than tough given an extremely board of judges ready to evaluate their skills.

– Each year we can see students becoming more and more subtle and experienced in what they do, and already now we see they have both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in place, which allows them to get what they need for their future employment, – Lyudmila Pustynnikova (Director, Broker-Center) noted.

For many students this event was not their first try of hand, and each time they come they learn even more than they expect, since apart from the contest itself, they also attend various master-classes delivered by NCFU partners and experts employed in different companies, both public and private.
