Angelina Likhovid (student, Institute of Humanities, NCFU) has won the translation contest held by the Institute of France in Russia, which now allows her to get a field placement abroad.

Part of the contest was to translate an episode from the Le discours novel by Fabrice Caro, where 50 students from Russia came to lock horns.

– I used to do some literature translation before yet I never took up French texts. Due to the specifics of its grammar, that took a lot of effort, of course. However, the outcome was worth it, - Angelina was quoted as saying.

Al in all eight students won the prizes and will travel to France in 2021 to polish their French skills.
