Daniil Dukhovny (student, NCFU) has won gold at the Russian National Computer Science Internet-Contest for students of 1-3 years. The event, which was held as an online test, brought together around 700 students from 145 universities of Russia and former Soviet republics. Daniil was undergoing the test for 2 hours, which implied 13 various tasks.
– This is the third time I have joined the contest, - Daniil said. – Last year I won bronze, yet I never expected I would win gold now. But the tasks were really good, both fun and challenging, with a lot of knowledge required – from network technologies to the algorithm theory.
This is not the first time Daniil wins a prize. Last year, apart from the bronze mentioned above, he also became winner of the Russian National English Language Contest for students majoring on technical fields, while earlier he, as part of the NCFU team, advanced to the quarter finals of a programming contest.
