NCFU Student Winner at Russian Youth Project Contest
Irina Sokhaneva (student, NCFU) has won an award at the Russian contest of youth projects focusing on urban management digitization. Irina’s team was recognized as the best one in the City of Belgorod at the Russian National Forum for digital transformation, and now the project will enjoy funding to be launched.
The contest joined together representatives of 50 regions of Russia – young experts in Sociology, IT, Architecture and urban management. The teams spent two days working on solving the cases they were presented with, after which a panel of experts was to select the best ones.
This time two teams were announced winners, one of them being the team where Irina (student; Year 4; major – Sociology) was part. The organizers of the event decided to offer support to the students’ initiatives and this year the ideas will be put into practice within the priority project of “Develop a Comfortable Urban Environment”.
