Late November this year, the IT-Planet 2020/21 International Contest is to be launched, with 400 participants of 160 academic institutions in Russia and the CIS joining the event to compete, where one of the participants – Anna Dargan – represents the NCFU.

The IT-Planet 2020/21 is one of the largest IT competitions in Russia, the aim of which is to bring closer both academic and business structures in Russia and the CIS.

–  The main task for the contest is to create opportunities to help young people open up and grow professionally. Over the 13 years since the event was launched, thousands of young professionals have found and built their professional paths thanks to its pragmatic orientation, close connection with experts and career opportunities offered here, - Sergey Shalashny (Chairman, Board of IT-Planet Center for Innovative Technologies Development promotion) was quoted as saying.

In the final, the participants will compete in areas like robotics, programming, network technologies, web design, mobile application development, 3D modeling, databases, data science, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality. The contest is to be held remotely, as well as present their projects through video conferences.

– I have joined the Unlimited Opportunities nomination within this contest, where the participants will present projects aimed at improving life for those with disabilities, – Anna Dargan (NCFU) noted. – My project focuses on displaying easily accessible and relevant information for people with disabilities on university websites.
