NCFU sportsmen, who are part of the Stavropol Region team, have delivered a great performance at the Russian National Contest as well as the Taekwondo Championship, both in individual and in group classifications.

The Championship, held in Odintsovo (Moscow, Area, Russia) brought together around a thousand best fighters from all over the country, with Alexander Vinnikov, Nikolay Serdyukov, Armen Zakharyan and Nikita Krutikov (Faculty of Physical Education, NCFU) representing the NCFU as well as the Stavropol Region.

In the individual classifications the university’s athletes won 4 different awards. However, this was not all – they also managed to get on top in group contests, which finally brought the region’s team the gold!

This championship was a selection stage for the European contest, so now Alexander Vinnikov, Nikolay Serdyukov, Armen Zakharyan are part of the Russian National team. Great job, guys! Wish you lots of new awards ahead!
