NCFU’s Inclusive Education Project – Leader in National Contest

The inclusive project designed by NCFU experts has received high praise at the EQUAL AMONG THE EQUAL Russian National Social Practices Contest.
The contest aims to support student initiatives involving social disadvantaged groups into the society’s common life and shaping a truly inclusive society, as well as instilling a pro-active stance in youngsters.
NCFU has become one of the leaders in inclusive education offered to students, and one of the most significant projects hosted here was the DON’T STAY SILENT gesture language festival, the purpose of that being overcoming psychological barriers that people with disabilities experience.

As the organizers stressed, the main idea is to attract youngsters, who are our future.
Now, as the contest outcomes came out, the DON’T STAY SILENT gesture language festival won its well-deserved silver as the Best Practice for Arranging Socially Meaningful Events for People with Disabilities.
