NCFU Researchers Win More Grants

NCFU researchers have won a contest held by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and will now be offered grants to help them prepare and publish research articles.
All in all, there were 6,124 applications submitted this year, of which only 500 were granted support, with three NCFU researchers named among the winners. Please give a big hand to the winners!
Prof. Alexander Aksenov; Acting Dean, Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy. research topic: Synthesis methods for 1,5-diazocin-2-ones
Prof. Marina Kolesnikova; Head of Department of Russian History (Institute of Humanities); research topic: The history of studying and maintaining the historical and cultural heritage of the Caucasus, end of XVIII – early XX Century: source and historiographical review
Vladimir Molodykh, PhD (Economics), Associate Professor, Department of Tax policy and Customs (Institute of Economics and Management); research topic: The impact of short-term exogenous shocks on taxpayer behavior and tax evasion
The contest is held by the RFBR to enhance the international authority of Russian scientific journals and increase their rating in international scientific citation systems, which is to be done through creating conditions for the preparation of original research articles to be published in respective Russian journals.
