The North-Caucasus Federal University hosted a meeting with the regional union of machinery builders.

The largest enterprises whose representatives attended the meeting expressed great interest in attracting research potential that the NCFU has to offer, al this aiming to supply highly qualified staff for the respective industry.

The top managers of the region’s leading enterprises came to see by themselves the numerous achievements that the NCFU is proud to show – from robotics to technical expert evaluation of metals, alloys, and much more. The NCFU researchers, for instance, take special pride in their latest development – an impulse laser that enhances metal durability at the same reducing the energy consumption at production.

When speaking to the honored guests, Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) explained that the NCFU is willing to solve any tasks set by the local manufacturers in order to improve the state of things in the local economy.

– We are currently running a number of applied projects for our industrial partners, and the facilities here may well serve a platform for developing newer solutions to be further employed by the regional union of machinery builders. Another promising area is supplying staff to meet the needs, – Mr. Bespalov was quoted as saying.

Besides, the guests were presented general academic cases – from short-term training courses to refresher courses available at the NCFU.
