Physicists of the NCFU have developed a unique nano-composite material with adjustable properties thus expanding the potential for solar panel production and electronics.
As Andrey Blinov (Associate Professor, Dept of Physics and Technology of nanostructures & Materials, NCFU) explained, the development is due to a novelty introduced – titanium dioxide modification with plasmonic nanoparticles of noble metals.
Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU), in turn, noted that this is another step towards green energy, which never hurts the environment and helps maintain eco-balance, and the NCFU’s experts are happy to make their respective contribution.
