NCFU Researchers Awarded Grants

Russian Science Foundation has announced the outcomes of two regional contests with NCFU experts coming out as winners to get their projects supported.
The main purpose of such regional contests held by the Foundation is to involve more of Russian region’s potential thus aiming to solve socio-economic issues. Traditionally, the contest attracts researchers from more than 42 areas of Russia.
As NCFU experts note, the specific feature of such contests is that the conditions are uniform for everyone, just like the selection principles are.
Now, as the winners have been announced, Svetlana Kalyugina (Head of Dept for Public, Municipal Management and Labor Economy) and Denis Syromyatnikov (Associate Professor, Dept for Economics & External Economic Activities) emerge as winners.
Prof. Kalyugina’s successful application has attracted a grant of RUR 1.5 mln, while Denis Syromyatnikov has managed to go even beyond and win a grant of RUR 4 mln.
The winners will tell more about their success in the most prestigious journals.
