Prof. Marina Kolesnikova (Head of Dept for Russian History; Director, Institute of Humanities) has been awarded the PROFESSOR OF THE YEAR-2021 Russian National Prize.

The award is given to those revealing the most outstanding achievements in the area of education and research, and Prof. Kolesnikova has proven the best in the nomination of Historical Science.

For COVID issues, the results came out not so long ago, while the entire event was held in Moscow (Russia).

- The was the winner’s video presentation and a speech delivered telling about the experience of NCFU in teaching Russian History to non-History majoring students, as well as about the development of a new degree program in History of Russia, – Prof. Marina Kolesnikova was quoted as saying.

The PROFESSOR OF THE YEAR-2021 Russian National Prize is awarded in order to preserve and promote Russia’s research and higher education potential, as well as to encourage research and teaching staff employed in higher level academic institutions.
