An NCFU delegation has just returned home after a successful trip to Syria after visiting the University of Al-Hawash.
The purpose of trip was holding talks focusing on academic cooperation in areas like Medicine, Biochemistry and Biology.
– The University of Al-Hawash and the NCFU have agreed on partnership areas, and this interest is mutual. We are ready to share our experience in the area of training staff, including experts in teaching Russia, whereas our partners have accumulated great experience in medicine and cosmetology, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.

Besides, the NCFU delegation (Oksana Anfinogenova, Associate Professor, Head of Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Medicine, Faculty of Biomedical Sciences; Professor Nikolay Belyaev, Department of Anatomy and Physiology, Faculty of Biomedical Sciences; Vladislav Babayants, Translator, Department for International Cooperation) attended the 1st International Medical Conference INNOVATIONS, NEW METHODS AND TECHNOLOGIES IN MEDICINE, hosted by the Al-Hawash Private University delivering speeches, and the success was not just the great interest taken by the audience yet the fact that it was the first Russian delegation in the latest several years attending such a serious event.
Now, the NCFU is ready to welcome a delegation from the Syrian partner-university, which will be another step towards enhanced collaboration – both academic and research.
This year, the NCFU has been promoting actively international academic cooperation with Universities of Syria, namely – the Damascus State University, the University of Al-Hawash, and other institutions. The events planned for the nearest future include conferences, student exchange and online seminars.
