From February this year on, NCFU has been running a psychological service offering support to students. Besides, similar services were launched in 15 more areas of Russia, while the concept of the entire project has been approved by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, and by the year 2025 such services are to be functioning in every single academic institution of higher education.

– The NCFU psychological service aims to offer comprehensive assistance to students, one of the major streamlines within the activity being ensuring students enjoy positive socialization and open up to their fullest potential, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.

The major activities designed to prevent psychological issues include trainings, quests, seminars, webinars, etc. Mostly it is the 1^st and the 4^th year students who seek help in case they need help to resolve some interpersonal issues or are going through a crisis.

Also, NCFU has a special phoneline (8-800-200-64-76, ext. 3), as well as runs an account on VK, a website (https://psypro.ncfu.ru), and a Telegram channel (https://t.me/psyncfu), where anyone can find lots of useful information to manage one’s own support.

The psychological services is also available for foreign students, and each Wednesday the experts here help students coming from other countries adjust in their new environment and find a common language with everyone around.
