Category: Main News

Azamat Luev (Pro-Rector for Youth Policy, NCFU) was invited to the Russia Radio to join Viktoria Polyubina (Director, Stavropol Employment Center) and talk about employment for graduates as well as about the support offered by the University.

As Viktoria Polyubina noted, the pandemic has delivered a significant blow to the job market, the number of those seeking job through the Center in Stavropol exceeding 20,000 people. However, all these people were offered some official support.

Some of those staying unemployed were NCFU graduates and, as Azamat Luev told, the University developed a number of measures aimed at expanding the list of jobs available to students and even offering jobs themselves – 363 students are employed now at NCFU. And the support does not end here – jobs, including part-time ones, are offered beyond the University. NCFU has its own e-platform  with up-to-date info regarding vacancies, and is always in touch with the respective regional ministries and employers.

However, when concluding, Mr. Luev told potential students’ parents that when choosing a future job it is not the prestige of the potential employment that is to be the decisive factor yet the kid’s talents and aptitudes and the reality of the job market.
