NCFU Presents Development Program to Join the Priority-2030 Project
Russian Universities go on presenting their strategic development programs for the nearest 10 years to come. The ideas are presented within the Priority-2030 federal program in view of their inclusion into the socio-economic agenda of the respective region. The NCFU, too, joined the project, where Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) delivered his presentation to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
In his speech, Mr. Bespalov noted that the progress and the logic of it for the NCFU are due to a number of relevant regional tasks and the experience the NCFU has accumulated so far. For the NCFU, the newly developed development program will embrace 5 strategic projects, which are to contribute both in the region’s social progress and in the technological advance.
Given the prospects for the regional specialization and the potential that the university has got, a number of innovative interdisciplinary research and technological projects will be implemented. As a result, we will get a new line of foods for personalized nutrition and healthy longevity, and eco-friendly products for plant protection. Robotic and digital technologies will be launched in the agro-industrial area. As for the field of biomedicine, there have been developed compounds with high antitumor activity, as well as new materials for implantation, – Dmitry Bespalov was quoted as saying.
The major principles for organizational change will rely on collaboration with the leaders and focusing on the priorities, as well as support to multidisciplinarity and promotion of human capital.
The development program has gained support from the Office of Presidential Envoy the North-Caucasus Federal District and by the Governor of the Stavropol Region.
