Both teachers and students of NCFU emerged as the winners at the contest held by the Yandex Academy aimed at supporting assistant teachers of IT-subjects. The major purpose of the contest is to train competent IT teachers who are not just knowledgeable yet are able to share their knowledge in the most appropriate manner.

Even though the competition was tough – thousands of applicants from all over the country – NCFU’s student-teacher combination proved to be among the best ones. Now, Marina Tokmakova (2^nd year student; major – Information Safety in Automated Systems) will be an assistant to Marina Lapina (Acting Head of Dept for Information Safety in Automated Systems, Institute of Digital Development).

The winners will learn now mentorship practices, goal setting, strategic planning and much more – all this is to raise as competent experts as it gets.
