Daria Shevtsova (Master’s degree student, NCFU) and Anna Dargan (expert, Resource Training & Methodology Center, NCFU) have become winners of the Russia’s Good News Contest, which implies support to the Russian bloggers and journalists who promote useful and constructive projects.

Daria got a special Jury Prize for the news coverage Biggest Reward Is to Know It’s Not in Vain, which tells about the Children in Hospital project thus helping the little patients in the Child Oncology and Hematology Ward in Stavropol, Russia.

– Of course, I am happy to have my work really appreciated, – Daria commented. – I am really glad there are contests that focus on relevant issues, and people do not remain indifferent to social things. As for the prize money, I would like to help those who are the subject of work for the foundation, and that was my major goal here. I am double happy to get the Jury’s special prize.

NCFU People Win Russia’s Good News Contest

Anna Dargan, in turn, won in the nomination Society & Social Projects with her project telling about Stavropol launching a social project for people with disabilities, love and arts. Each of the winners was awarded 100,000 Rubles.

The award ceremony is to take place on July 17 in ST. Petersburg, Russia.
