Based on the 9^th Ranking of Russia’s Best Universities RAEX-100 for 2020, North-Caucasus Federal University has moved 12 lines up, which is due to a higher demand that our graduates enjoy among potential employers, and research activities.

This ranking has been published since 2012 and is based on official data, surveys conducted among academic communities, employers, students, and graduates (over 61.5 thou respondents).

In 2020, 164 universities joined the ranking, and NCFU has proven to move 12 lines up compared to the year before. The leading three are still the same – Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Pphysics and Technology (National Research University) and National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, nor the top 30 have changed, still including 17 universities based in Moscow, 4 – in St Petersburg, 2 – in Tomsk, etc.

Apart from a higher activity in research and articles published in Scopus, the institutions have also demonstrated significant progress in international integration, including foreign students and double-degree programs.
