NCFU’s experts are to deliver refresher training courses for medical employees of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, while for each country this visit is to be the first experience of cooperation in the area of medicine.
The project is part of the External Political Activities national program supported by both Russia and Congo, and relies on the Cooperation Agreement the two countries entered at the Russia – Africa Summit in 2019.
The training is aimed at enhancing the African medical staff competencies in medicine, embracing, first of all, the most relevant clinical areas – Traumatology and Orthopedics, Anatomical and Physiological Basics of Medical Imaging, Emergency Hospital Care, and upon successful completion the participants will be awarded respective certificates.
The group of the Russian speakers includes both researchers and practicing experts, which means the entire course is not to cover theoretical issues alone yet also to offer practical skill training. Besides, the entire course is to be delivered through interpreters, who are already working on improving their knowledge of respective terminology, being specifically aware of the French dialect spoken in Congo.
Good Luck, folks! Great start means half job done!
