Tutorship School has been launched at the NCFU, which has brought around 163 students seeking to become tutors for future freshmen.
This project is aimed at introduction and improving soft skills in academic group tutors – students who are well aware of various issues that younger students may face.
Now, the school participants are to enjoy four weeks of training aimed at getting to know student self-government, conflict resolution, and basic skills in Psychology.
– The tutors now are facing a serious task – to meet thousands of freshmen who are coming to this whole new world. And we are to help them get adjusted here. I believe we will manage to have the NCFU become their home, just the way it once became our home, – Karen Avanesov (Chair, Student Council, NCFU) was quoted as saying.
