NCFU Launches Russia-Uzbekistan Center
The North-Caucasus Federal University has presented the Russia-Uzbekistan Center, launched jointly with the Samarkand State University.
The NCFU is currently offering training to over 600 nationals of Uzbekistan, and is promoting cooperation with universities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Buhara, Fergana and Navoi (Republic of Uzbekistan), both running joint degree programs and arranging various events – fr om seminars to large-scale conferences.

Now, the newly launched Center is a perfect chance to get to know the traditions and the cultures, as well as to exchange mutually enriching experience.
– We really value that the management of the Samarkand State University has suggested the NCFU coordinates the Center from the Russian side. This is a large-scale project, which is to enhance our ties – both scientific and cultural, – Nikita Avralev (Pro-Rector for Strategic Affairs and Innovations) noted.

The grand opening ceremony was held with numerous guests, including visitors from Uzbekistan, attending the event. However, the program went beyond welcome speeches delivered by top persons.
Students enjoyed more – a unique game, wh ere they were to answer questions in areas like geography and History. And then, of course, the best ones hot their well-deserved prizes. Well done, people! Good Luck, now, through all your joint endeavors!
