NCFU Launches International Academic Projects in Caucasus
South Ossetia is hosting the first large-scale International Youth Forum, which starts the NCFU’s launch of culture & education projects of the Large Caucasus Consortium.
The MAINTAINING MEMORY WITHIN GLOBAL CHANGE CONTEXT forum is to be held for two days – September 23 and 24 in South Ossetia, and has been arranged by the NCFU jointly with the South Ossetian State University, while supported by the Gorchakov Diplomacy Foundation.

When delivering his welcome speech at the grand opening of the event, Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) noted that the “forum is one of the landmark events held by the Large Caucasus Consortium, which is especially relevant in view of the events happening on the global scale”.
The International Forum held in Tskhinval (South Ossetia) has brought around representatives of four countries – Russia, South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Armenia of most diverse professional background – from teachers and students to search group volunteers and museum experts.

Apart from the academic part of the program, which includes speeches on most relevant topics including history and national values, the organizers have prepared some entertainment with tours to the places of historical interest, as well as a performance show by groups of the Large Caucasus Consortium Universities.
