Foreign students who have got vaccinated against coronavirus are getting now their certificates, which are to be used as QR-codes.

Earlier this category of students had some issues with getting the code since they have no accounts on the single Russian portal of public services (Gosuslugi).

– We have found a way out. All vaccinated foreign students will now get their certificates of preventive vaccination, as approved by the Russian Ministry of Health, and now they can be free travelling around Russia just like they are free to join any public event, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.

The NCFU currently has vaccination stations offering services not only to its staff, families or students, yet just everyone. As of today, over 70% of the NCFU employees and more than 30% of full-time students are fully vaccinated. The university has also launched a special bonus system – all the employees who get vaccinated will get a day off, while vaccinated students will be granted a free pas to the gym or the swimming pool.
