NCFU hosted a street food festival, which was part of the SCIENCE 0+ Russian National Festival.

SCIENCE 0+ is an event that allows all its participants to feel involved in big science, as well as to meet outstanding researchers and much more.

The event program included conferences, seminars and project presentations, where faculties and institutes could share their developments in the most diverse areas – from Physics to Medicine and IT.

The Faculty of Food Engineering and Biotechnology, in turn, held a street food event.

– Our faculty has arranged this street food festival, and our kids are trying their best, presenting not conventional foods only yet our local developments that neither community nor businesses know of. This is not just involvement but something creative and positive indeed, – Natalia Oboturova (Dean, Faculty of Food Engineering and Biotechnology) was quoted as saying.

The foods presented made a great show, yet it was not a feast for the eyes but for the taste as well – everyone was welcome to enjoy and learn more about the technology.

It is notable that NCFU is involved deeply in international cooperation, and even halal food was available represented by the best recipes from more than a few countries.
