NCFU hosted the VIII International Conference on ACHIEVEMENTS IN BIOTECHNOLOGY. GLOBAL CHALLENGES AND RELEVANT ISSUES OF REPROCESSING RECYCLABLE AGRICULTURAL RAW RESOURCES IN RUSSIA, which was arranged to celebrate jubilee birthday of Andrey Khramtsov – one of the most outstanding researchers recognized both in Russia and abroad.

The event brought together over 100 experts representing various dairy plants, farms and companies and universities from all over the country, whereas the focus of the conference was on the future of the dairy industry in our country and employment of advanced technologies.

The conference itself included two plenary speeches with most diverse topics discussed – from newer methods for dairy production to the current trends in the respective market.

Another highlight within the conference program was a tour around the Stavropol Dairy plant with the local products tasting.
