North-Caucasus Federal University hosted the 1^st International Conference Media and Marketing Communications Against Coronavirus, which brought together both Russian and foreign experts.

All in all, there were 45 speeches delivered by experts from Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Sri Lanka, the United States of America and Russia.

The entire event included two sections – Marketing Communications and Mass Communications, while the speakers talked issues like e-learning, goods promotion through the pandemic, and emotion management during the lockdown among many others.

– The global lockdown triggered by the pandemic, along with unprecedented social isolation measures has turned the entire world upside down, and had us all reconsider attitudes to many areas of human life. The year 2020 showed clearly how easily our plans may be destroyed. And through this entire period, experts in charge of marketing and mass media had to be flexible, creative and far-sighted when making whatever decisions. Our conference now is focused on understanding all these processes, – Elena Ezhova (Head of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, NCFU) noted.

All the speeches delivered at the conference will be published in the Russian Science Citation Index volume.
