NCFU is hosting the 3^rd AI Hackaton – a large scale project, which is part of the national program for Digital Economy of Russian Federation – attracting over 100 young experts is respective areas.

Hackatons and lectures on AI are a series of educational events that are to be held all over Russia. All in all, for the period of 2021 – 2024, there have been 116 hackatons planned along with 85 lectures by the leading Russian experts in AI.

– The NCFU pays a lot of attention to shaping digital competencies in students, especially when it comes to IT-related majors, with over 1700 students pursuing their degrees currently. This year only we enrolled students to be training with 20 IT-areas, and the popularity of this is growing, while their demand in the labor market has reached 90%. All this is due to shaping respective competencies in our students through events like this hackaton we are hosting today, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.

The outcomes will come out on Sep 5, after which the winners will be named as well as the prize fund – RUR 400,000 – will be shared among them.
