NCFU Hosts Data Analysis International School

North-Caucasus Federal University hosted the International School Intellectual Data Analysis and Knowledge Engineering, where the organizers were NCFU, La Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), and the Leopold and Franz University of Innsbruck (Austria), whereas the audience were students and researchers from Russia, Portugal, India, Slovenia, Italy, Denmark, South Korea. The school was held in a mixed format: some employees and students of the Federal University attending in person, others joining it online.
During the school, researchers, undergraduates and postgraduates presented their developments in the field of artificial intelligence and data processing. The largest University in the region was represented by researchers and students of the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies.
- Artificial intelligence is a serious research field, - Maria Lapina (Acting Assistant Director, Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies) said while offering her comment. – Now there are mechanisms available, which allow researchers to analyze large bodies of data, and the results of such studies help improve technologies.
The school will be completed with a volume of works published, each of the works subject to blind proof-reading, by both Russian and foreign experts.
