NCFU has hosted the selection stage of the Russian National Engineering Case-Contest for schoolers, which was arranged by the Institute of Engineering and the Center for Career Development of NCFU.

The selection stage brought together over 2,000 school students from 44 areas of Russia, after which 16 teams were selected to online-deliver their solutions to experts on December 11.

The challenge that the participants had to face implied building an artificial island in the coastal zone to further consider employing potential energy sources for its inhabitants.

The event is aimed at promoting knowledge about energy, as well as shaping a positive and responsible attitude to this field of knowledge among students, further identifying the most promising candidates who can prove successful in the energy industry.
