The region’s largest university held the VI North-Caucasus Organic Chemistry Conference (NCOCS-2022), which brought around over 200 experts, both from Russia and abroad.

The agenda was diverse, special attention being paid to newer trends in organic chemistry, advanced synthesis methods and conceptual approaches to employing organic compounds and their practical use.

– Our conference, which was initially meant to promote chemistry in the North Caucasus and South Russia, has once again allowed the participants exchange experience, ideas and more. And I do believe that we have lots of discoveries waiting down the road, – Prof. Alexander Aksenov was quoted as saying.

The Conference went on for four days and included many specific events, namely, round-table discussion, section work and speeches.
