NCFU is hosting the 4^th Abilympics National Championship for people with disabilities, with the Network and System Administration contest held in the University.

The Championship is aimed at offering people with disabilities a better chance to get integrated in the society. The online contest has now brought together over 2,000 people from 81 areas of Russia. As for NCFU, this year its representative is Maksim Danchenko (3^rd year student, Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies).

– This is the first time I have joined a contest of that huge scale, – Maksim noted. – Last term we started studying information systems and I got really interested. Now I am hoping I will get some prize because a high result would offer me a good chance to get a better employment in the future.

Along with the contest, there is also a special professional program, where experts and researchers from all over Russia are discussing education and employment for people with disabilities.

The contest, which is arranged by the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Institute for Professional Development and the Government of Moscow, is to go on until Nov 29.
