The North-Caucasus Federal University, jointly with the Russian Cooperation Agency (Rossotrudnichestvo) has completed the russian week of maths and exact sciences in Kyrgyzstan with over 300 schoolers and 170 teachers attending the event.
NCFU experts spent a week holding various interactive and game-based classes, while the entire program was aimed at meeting the most popular requests in education – Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science.
However, it was much more – special in-service training was delivered for school teachers in order to help them improve their subject-related competencies.
This project was just one of the many similar activities NCFU holds and hosts thus joining together youngsters from all over the world, including a special project – Summer University – for foreign students including those from Asian countries who come to the region to spend two weeks improving their skills in systemic thinking and project management. The results are obvious – about 500 students from Central Asia are pursuing their respective degrees currently at NCFU. Great job, Uni!
