The North-Caucasus Federal University held the Career Days with the largest academic institutions’ students coming to join the online event. The major purpose of it is to help graduates make their first career steps through establishing a dialogue with the region’s leading companies.

– One of the main streamlines within our activity is to promote employment among student. We believe that career starts from your Year 1 in university. The moment you enter the university to study here, you should think about your job-to-be because becoming a professional is not about getting your certificate yet about mastering the right skills, – Dmitry Bondarev (Head of Center for Career and Youth Entrepreneurship, NCFU) was quoted as saying.

The event, which attracted over 570 NCFU students, was a success, with 30 largest employers attending – from construction companies to banks.

The Career Days have already become a tradition, which allows students try their hand in certain areas thus deciding whether or not they should seek employment in a certain company or area, and many of them start building their careers here, which finally may lead far – from any part of Russia to other countries. Besides, the Center for Career and Youth Entrepreneurship of the NCFU is working on new projects to be held online.
